Bentley Continental Supersports

Price:$296,025

The Continental Supersports is built around the most powerful W12 engine that Bentley has ever developed, now producing a remarkable 700 hp and  750 ft-lbs. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds and on to a blistering top speed of 209 mph.  Strictly speaking you can only get the convertible version of this car now and it starts at a cool $325,000.

Ferrari 812 Superfast

Sergio Marchionne has said he’ll never put a turbocharger on a 12-cylinder Ferrari, it just isn’t right and we agree. The 812 Superfast is a rework of the F12 berlinetta, and so it has more power, 789 hp to be exact. To take advantage of this increased power, the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission has been fitted with shorter gear ratios. Expect the 812 to hit 60 mph in 2.6 seconds.

2018 Lamborghini Aventador S

Lamborghini introduced the Aventador 6 years ago to replace the Murcielago. They have tweaked it throughout those years and given us the the SV, the Roadster and the barmy LP700-4. Now the Aventador S is available and along with the aforementioned LP700-4 is the most powerful yet with 740 hp and it still uses a naturally aspirated V12.

The GT2 RS is built for speed, both in a straight line and around road-racing circuits. Thanks to a 3.8-liter twin turbo flat 6 engine, it produces 700 horsepower and 553lb-ft. of torque. This produces astonishing acceleration which Porsche claims will launch the GT2 RS from standstill to 60 in 2.7 seconds. Since the Turbo S will do that in 2.4 seconds this car is sure to be quicker.

Dodge Challenger SRT Demon

Dodge’s latest muscle car is a drag-race special, fittingly called the Demon. Standard Demons come with a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 that puts our 808 hp, but owners can increase that to 840 hp with the Demon Crate package. If so equipped, Dodge claims that the Demon will blast the quarter-mile in 9.65 seconds at 140 mph.

In the McLaren 720 S they have upped the ante with a 710-hp twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 that drives the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic. A Drift mode is offered in addition to Comfort, Sport, and Track settings and it comes with unexpected luxuries like a touchscreen infotainment system and a digital gauge cluster that hides away in the dashboard when in Track mode. Speed is it’s thing and the 720S storms to sixty in 2.8 seconds and onto 124 mph 7.2 seconds later.

Jeep Trackhawk

The new Jeep Trackhawk is probably the craziest SUV on the planet, if not the fastest. It’s certainly the only one available with more than 700 hp. Despite it’s 5,500 lb curb weight the Trackhawk’s 707 hp will launch it from 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, that’s faster than the Challenger Hellcat. Thanks to all wheel drive this car copes better with all the power and keeps you away from the tire shop longer.
