Due to make its first appearance at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the McLaren 675LT will be lightweight, powerful and offer ultimate levels of driver engagement.” The LT,  stands for “Longtail,” due to the extra length of the trailing edge which helps the aerodynamics considerably.

Offering a devilish 666 hp, the 675LT is available as a coupe only and will be McLaren’s  most track-focused, yet road legal model in its Super Series range, made up of the 12C, 650S and in Asia-only 625C.

Performance will be exceptional with 0-62 mph coming up in a scant 2.9 seconds and onto 124 mph in 7.9 seconds, with a maximum speed of 205 mph.

Weight is always a factor but McLaren say dry weight will be around 2,712 lb, which gives the car a power-to-weight ratio of 541 hp per ton.

Inside it’s all business with ultra lightweight carbon fiber bucket seats covered in Alcantara, and modeled on the seats in big brother P1. The McLaren 675LT will be officially launched at the 85th Geneva Motor Show next month
