Rivian R1S The seven seat R1S sport-utility vehicle from Rivian, a new electric-vehicle manufacturer based in Michigan. The R1S takes direct aim at the Tesla Model X, which is the only three-row all-electric SUV currently available. The R1S will be cheaper than the Model X when it goes on sale in early 2021 with a starting price of $72,500 (before destination fee), it will be around $10,000 less expensive. There is a base 105.0-kWh model [...]
2019 Cadillac CT6 Sport AWD Review – Super Cruising Around with Cadillac’s Autonomous Driving System
The elegant CT6 replaced the XTS as Cadillac’s full-size flagship in 2016 model year with an attempt to provide competition to the S-Class, 7-Series, and A8. It very nearly succeeds and shows that Cadillac is having success in building big sedans that younger folks may be willing to buy. That’s a tall order though considering everyone and their aunt wants an SUV these days, with offerings across all sizes. It also could use more power [...]
The 2018 Audi Q5 uses the now familiar MLB chassis, has standard all-wheel drive and a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Everything is bigger and at the same time almost everything is better. Although a tad understated on the outside, the Q5 makes up for it with a sumptuous interior, as we would expect. My week tester was a 2018 Audi Q5 Prestige, so all bells and whistles included, which can make the Q5 expensive very quickly. [...]

This Blazer is a departure from those old models, last seen in 2005, now it’s a mid-size, two-row, five-passenger crossover. It’s aimed squarely at folks looking for an upscale crossover that’s a step up from the [...]
There's plenty going on at Cadillac these days, what with the ATS/CTS combo being discontinued leaving us thinking no more sedans for us, until they decide to come back with a CT4 and a CT5 for later this year. Add to that 2 new crossovers the XT4 and XT6, also due out later this year and you began to see Cadillac's new product offensive in full flow, which means they will launch an all-new or [...]
Sadly there are only 3 Buick brand cars left, the LaCrosse, the Cascada and the Regal, which comes in three flavors, Sportback, Tour X and the GS. Only the Regal will survive 2019, the LaCrosse is being killed off and Opel will stop making the Cascada this year. The Regal supposedly lives in for another 3 years since it is a big seller in GMs biggest market China. This is a good thing since I [...]
