Mitch Medford,  who describes himself as big idea guy and serial entrepreneur has teamed up with well-known electric drag racer John Wayland to build an all-electric 1968 Ford Mustang that’s capable of beating almost anything on a drag strip. Their mantra is that they are  committed to producing the baddest, coolest, fastest vintage muscle cars in the world, all electric, all the time. They call it Super-E.

Zombie 222, Medford’s pony car looks like a mildly-modified Mustang fastback, but when you look under the hood it reveals the the stock 289-cubic-inch V8 engine has been removed and replaced with a pair of electric motors that pump out over 800 horsepower and 1,800 lb ft of instant torque, which fires the Mustang from zero to 60 mph in just 1.94 seconds and on to a top speed of over 174 mph. This is quicker than a Porsche 918 and the Veyron!
